The Lompoc Fire Department held their annual Open House to kick off Fire Prevention Week on Saturday, October 4th. This event continues to grow every year and provides a great fire safety learning experience for both adults and children.
Some of the learning opportunities include: blood pressure checks, ambulance demonstrations, fire station tours, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, Home Depot Kid Clinic, Hands Only CPR training and kitchen safety. Patrons can grab a snack to eat from one of our vendors as they bounce from one demonstration to another.
Check out a short video of this years Open House and if you missed it, be sure to check it out next year!
